I was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Oregon in the early 1950's and have lived in the Portland area ever since. I'm a recently retired owner of a forest products engineering and consulting firm after 30 years of being in business. In the past two years, I've witnessed more fundamental changes in America than I've witnessed during my entire lifetime. As a result, I've been searching for an outlet that would provide me a way to help, even in a small way, to fix our broken political system that has centralized their power at the continuing expense of our individual rights. This led me to running as a write in candidate for Republican precinct committee person for House District 48 in Clackamas County in May of this year.
My personal goal is to work with the Clackamas County Republicans to elect true conservative Republicans during the next election cycles so that we can first take back our County, then our State and finally our Country.
I've been married to my wife, Judy, for 47 years, have four married sons and lived in Happy Valley for over 12 years. My hobbies consist of golf, bowling, model airplane building, gardening and reading.
